In order to limit impact on the land at Gateway Ranch, we have limited space for vehicles and camping. We ask that everyone embrace the spirit of sustainability at the Southwest Flow Festival by participating in our carpooling initiative.
By sharing rides, you contribute to the conservation of land, reduce vehicle emissions, and make the most of our limited camping spaces. Keep Gateway Ranch pristine by collecting and properly disposing of MOOP (Matter Out Of Place)
Meet new friends and help guide people to their parking spaces and/or campsites. Note: there is a fair bit of walking involved in this role
Become a SWFF 2024 expert all while helping fellow participants get checked in for their shifts, answering questions about the schedule and workshops, etc. We'll give you all the info you need to know!
Help us break down the 40'x60' circus tent and put some things away at the ranch. This shift includes FREE early entry too! (Thursday at 12:00pm)
If mobility or physical labor poses a challenge for you, we offer alternative contribution opportunities that are less physically demanding. Please let us know your preferences, and we'll work together to find a suitable arrangement. Your comfort and inclusion are important to us, and we are more than happy to accommodate your needs!
Sharing the effort needed to make SWFF a success is integral to maintaining the intimate setting and keeping our prices affordable. If you prefer not to claim a 2-hour contribution shift, you have the option to delegate it to someone else for a fee of $27.70 (calculated at the Coconino County minimum wage for two hours of labor).
Southwest Flow Festival is a 3 day camping event at an off-grid ranch in Northern Arizona. As such you will need to be fully self-sufficient and self-reliant. This includes food, water, shelter, and adequate gear for warm days and chilly nights. Below are some additional guidelines that we ask you to agree to before submitting your application so that we're all on the same page!
Southwest Flow Festival is a self-sufficient camping festival. I will need to provide my own camping supplies, food, water, flow props and desired amenities.
We love your dog too. Don't take it personally.

100% of your generous donation will go directly to sponsoring entry for those in need of financial assistance. The Southwest Flow Festival Flow Arts Scholarship Program's mission is to provide scholarships to individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary dedication to flow arts, but are unable to afford a ticket to this prestigious event. We believe in recognizing and supporting the passion and commitment of talented individuals in the flow arts community.
